Thank you for giving us the opportunity to care for such an important part of your life: You and your family's eyesight. When asked which sense is most important, most people respond that it is their vision. We understand how important your eyes are to you.
Daniel R. Obermark, O.D. and Cassidy D. Obermark, O.D. provide specialized eye health care for adults and children of all ages in southeast Missouri with offices in Poplar Bluff and Sikeston.
We understand that most people believe that their eyes are healthy and get an eye exam for eyewear or contact lenses, but we also believe that you want trusted eye health care from dedicated professionals. Our doctors are board certified and residency trained in ocular disease treatment including amblyopia, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, eye injuries and foreign body removal, eye infections "pink eye", and other eye conditions. Many patients don't know about the number of diseased that can effect the eye and vision system. Frequently a patient will notice blurred vision, think they need a new prescription and schedule an appointment when we diagnose and treat potentially blinding conditions. We have even saved patients from life threatening eye cancers.
You deserve your best eyesight possible which includes correction by Lasik, contact lenses, and eyewear. We will work with you to provide for your unique lifestyle. Laser vision correction has become a tested and proven procedure over the last two decades. LASIK (laser in situ keratomileusis) is a surgical procedure using an excimer laser to reshape the cornea and focus or correct for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) differs slightly in the preparation of the cornea and may allow for higher prescriptions to be treated. Only an expert eye doctor can determine which procedure is best for you. Recent technological advances have made contact lenses more comfortable and convenient than ever. We specialize in progressive contact lenses for patients needing reading glasses. We hope you will find our vision center and optical selection to be the best between St. Louis and Memphis and our in-house optical lab provides for fast, convenient service.
We won't take your eyesight for granted! Schedule your appointment online or call 573-785-6717 in Poplar Bluff or 573-471-1080 in Sikeston.
We think you will be pleased with our attention to your eye health. "We specialize in Your eyes"
